On Saturday, May 9, you will have the opportunity to explore some of Madrid’s culinary delights on your own. Below are just a few restaurant – and even a flamenco show – suggestions to tempt your taste buds. Feel free to pick one of these or find one that better suits you. Madrid offers almost limitless choice. Please make reservations directly on the restaurant websites.
On Monday, May 11, you will have the opportunity to join a group dine-around if you wish, at one of the restaurants marked with an asterisk (*) below. If you are interested, you will have the opportunity to sign up at the Lorandus Hospitality Desk. You’re also welcome to explore Madrid’s restaurants and tapas bars independently that evening, if you prefer.
A stipend for both meals will be provided at registration, upon your arrival.

Flamenco Show with optional dinner, may be the most famous flamenco tablao in the world and the most renowned flamenco establishment in Spain. It is the world’s only flamenco tablao with a Michelin-star rated restaurant. Patricia Schultz, refers to this tablao in her New York Times bestseller “1,000 Places to See Before You Die,“ calling it one of the 10 main places of tourist interest in Madrid. Book early as this fills up quickly. If you plan to go on Monday, May 11, book the later show as we will not return from our group excursion to Toledo until 6:00 PM.
